Moreno and Baturiano astound the Division Festival of Talents

       Mayamot National High School delegates Jason Baturiano and Arnold Moreno brought victory from the recent Division Festival  of Talents: Population Education at San Jose National High School, November 12, Wednesday. More that 20 schools accepted the challenge and joined in different categories like Jingle writing, Essay writing, Pop Quiz, and Poster Making.         

       

       The commencement of the program was lead by Dr. Lacerna, principal of San Jose NHS and followed by the intermission number of San Jose Dance troupe and Choral. Before the competition proper, Counselor Fourth Lagao who served as substitute for Mayor Jun Ynares inspired the young competitors about their talents, winning and losing.

     

        Moreno with his pencil and colors amazed the judges making him  2nd place in Poster Making competition in which 24 contenders battled.  Baturiano on the other hand, outshined the 12 school’s delegate in Jingle Song Writing competition that brought him to championship. Coaches of the two were a proud façade after the awarding ceremony.

       

         Moreno and Baturiano thanked all people who supported them and dedicated their triumph to the Lord God and to all MNHSTeans.

 

                Garcia and Meneses placed 11 all over 45 teams in UST Pitagoras-“Tagisan ng galing at abilidad sa Sipnayan” at the University of Santo Thomas, December 6.

                 Juan Carlos Garcia and Lester John Meneses of IV-Diamond proudly shared their ability in Mathemathics to compete in the UST Pitagoras contest. Although they did not qualify to the semi finals in which Top 10 schools will move forward they are proud of themselves and for the school for beating Ateneo De Manila University and University of Santo Thomas who placed 14th and 16th.
